In a dark pixel world you have to whip out your light sword and slash hordes of evil creatures and their bosses to shreds. Enemies are coming at you from all sides. You have to move towards them, before the get to close. However, you need to be fairly close to kill them. If you are too far away, you will be defenseless for a short period of time. Killing lots of enemies consecutively, helps you to achieve a multiple point combo. In addition, you constantly have to avoid enemies and their weapons, including arrows, deadly bullets or a ring of fire. If you should get caught by the enemy, you have to give up a heart. Your return is accompanied by a light tower that kills all enemies visible on the screen. Unfortunately, you only have three hearts to start out with. If you want more, you need to purchase them via in-app.
Conclusion:
Operating the game is simple: To move you swipe across the screen, to attack you tap on the respective enemy. However, it is difficult to stay alive over a long period of time. Since no power-ups are being offered, you completely rely on your ability to react – a true challenge.
